Learn more ›I'm Barry. For about 20 years I've repaired and installed HVAC, refrigeration, and appliances across the greater Sacramento area — no upselling, no pressure, and no paying to fix the same problem twice.
One call covers your comfort systems and your appliances — a true one-stop shop, and you deal with the owner every time.

I'm the owner. I answer the phone with my name, I do the diagnosis, and I stand behind the work — with one helper, not a rotating cast of strangers.
I tell you what I found, what it will take to fix it, and what I'd do if it were my own home. The decision is yours from there — no pressure, no padded quote.
I take my time to find the real problem — meters, gauges, temperatures — so you're not paying to repair the same thing twice.
My rule: if a repair runs past a third of the cost of buying new, I'll tell you to replace it — and recommend the brands I'd put in my own home.
I'd rather tell you up front than waste your time on a service call:
Small problems get expensive when they're ignored. If any of these sound familiar, it's worth a phone call.
Your call comes straight to me — no call center, no dispatcher. Describe the problem in your own words and we'll go from there.
Meters, gauges, temperature readings — whatever it takes to find the cause, not just the symptom. Then I explain it in terms that make sense.
I lay out your options, including what I'd choose for my own home. Repair, replace, or think it over — it's your call from there.
Most of my work comes from repeat customers and their referrals. Here's what a few of them have said.
★★★★★“Great customer service and communication. An excellent job on replacement of our furnace unit. Extremely efficient and accommodating in scheduling repairs for our A/C unit that failed.”
— Nick L.
★★★★★“Our very old air conditioner gave up over Labor Day weekend. They took our call and were here Wednesday. We were given lots of choices to repair or replace… Great customer service, good value. Highly recommend!”
— Jasmine J.
★★★★★“All I can say is WOW… very professional, timely & affordable. If you are looking for a great local company to service or replace your home system don't look any further.”
— Richard S.
No coupons, no fine print — if one of these fits you, just mention it when you call.
A thank-you to the people who've served their community, and the neighbors who built it.
New here? The first repair is how I earn the repeat business my whole company runs on.
I keep my radius to about 50 miles from Sacramento. If you're near any of these, you're covered — and if you're not sure, just call.
